No final do ano passado a banda de rock britânica Status Quo decidiu optar por uns camuflados.
O rock, aquele murro na barriga do poder, intimamente ligado ao espírito revolucionário e ao questionamento dos poderes vigentes, aparece agora deslumbrado pelo polvo, alegando que o faz por caridade.
Lembram-se da música "In the army now"? Costumava ser uma música de intervenção que questionava o suposto heroísmo de quem busca a glória e o recohecimento dos vizinhos, matando em terras alheias.
No final de 2010, a banda relançou o tema. Mudou a letra, vestiu camuflados e cantou ao lado de soldados, não pelo fim da guerra, mas para apoiar os soldados britânicos, através da "British Forces Foundation" e da "Help For Heroes", tendo ainda o desplante de apelar ao governo que suprima o IVA da venda do single.Vale a pena ver como mudando 6 linhas se muda de lado da barricada. A negrito aparecem as alterações.
